Accreditation & Recognition


The course is government accredited and has national recognition. The Accrediting body is the Department of Skills Development (DSD) under the Ministry of Human Resources of Malaysia. The award (Diploma and Certificate) is issued by the DSD and recognized by the Malaysia Public Service.


Skills Malaysia


SkillsMalaysia is a rebranding exercise for a national awareness campaign which epitomizes innovative skills training denoting the outreach to excellent and distinguished achievements as a result of a unifiead national aspiration with skills training embodied in its mission. The objective of SkillsMalaysia is to create awareness of the opportunities in skills training and job related to TEVT that can contribute towards developing a high-income nation and in making skills training the first choice for school leavers.


Department of Skills Development (DSD)


The Department of Skills Development, abbreviated JPK or DSD, is an agency under the Ministry of Human Resources of Malaysia for co-ordination and control of training skills for Malaysian citizens. It researches and develops standards to evaluate job expertise and competency. Defining the contents of Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (Malaysian Skill Certificates) is the major function of Department of Skill Development. There are currently five different levels of certification. Skill Certificates are obtained through Accredited Training Institutions and Industry-Oriented Training. Apprenticeship training courses in the National Dual Training System are carried out in approved institutes.
